  • 09 Apr 2010 A major geomagnetic storm was observed on 05 April possibly due to a combined effect of a coronal hole and a partial halo CME that was observed on 03 April 2010. The solar cycle 24 seems to be getting more active.

  • 15 Dec 2006 Possible Auroral displays on Friday and Saturday night. Auroral displays are likely in Southern Australian regions and New Zealand and possible as far north as Sydney due to the major geomagnetic activity currently being experienced. This activity is due to the impact of a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) which struck the earth in the early hours of Friday morning as predicted by IPS.
