The WBMOD Ionospheric Scintillation Model
American Amateur Relay League tutorials
This is the index page of the American Amateur Relay League for digital voice communications, with a strong emphasis on HF. It contains several interesting articles, some web links and some papers (in pdf form) that provide background information to digital voice radio.
American Amateur Relay League for digital voice communications
contains good tutorials on software-defined radios.
Provides a free course on digital signal processing

Hermanus Magnetic Observatory
Ionospheric Research
Ionospheric Research in South Africa is undertaken at the Department of Physics and Electronics at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, in partnership with the Space Physics Group of the Hermanus Magnetic Observatory (HMO). The research is mainly bottomside ionospheric modelling with the emphasis on the use of neural networks in this field. Current projects include a South African electron density profile model, a lower ionosphere model for the Auroral zone and a global model for the prediction of foF2. The group also manages the South African ground based ionosondes and controls the South African data archiving service.

Several links including links to the electron density model Nequick
the scintillation model GISM
These contain links to the ITU-R WP3L software.

Neutron Star Kinematics: VLBI Astrometry Techniques
So are we going to be interested in his two sections: "Correction Technique (3): Iterative Ionosphere Removal" and "Correction Technique (4): GPS Ionospheric data"? Maybe our group should be watching out and catching references to these ionospheric efforts.
