Data Files

Iondata - Australian scaled ionospheric data.

Ionosonde measurements v2.10 - Dr T Damboldt has kindly provided a data viewer and consolidated median data set for download. It is available from the FTP site. Please read the HELP file prior to downloading and running this self extracting archive. This data set is also available as global_medians_*.zip and global_medians_*.tar.gz from the FTP site Be aware that you use it at your own risk.

Win-32 Ionoscale - A software tool developed by IPS Radio & Space Services for scaling and browsing IPS clean format ionograms. It is used at IPS as the primary scaling tool. IonoScale (IonoScale.zip) was developed to run on Unix systems, but has been ported to run on the MS Windows OS.
Ionogram Viewer - An IPS Clean Ionogram Viewer (wdc_cid.jar and README) are available for download. This is a stand alone version of the Java applet for viewing and printing IPS clean format ionograms used on this website for realtime ionogram display. It also provides a simple scaling facility.
Generic Ionogram Viewer - An IPS developed generic Ionogram Viewer is available for download. This Java application has been developed as a simple multi format viewer for ionograms stored in the WDC. The application and documentaton are contained in a zip file "JionView.jar".

Solar Image Viewer - A Windows Culgoora H-Alpha image viewer is available for download (wdc_ib.zip), see README for details. After installation you need to download zipped data to Program Files/IPS/wdc_ib on your PC.
Spectrograph Viewer - A Windows spectrograph viewer (include README) is available for download (spec.zip). After installation you need to download zipped data to your PC.
