About inag-general
|
|
INAG is Working Group 1 of URSI Commission G and is responsible for:
collecting together information on the analysis of ionograms,
maintaining conventions for the reduction of ionograms,
providing a forum for people interested in obtaining reliable data from ionograms,
preserving the Global ionospheric climate record.
This mail group has been set up:
to assist people interested in the activities of INAG to communicate more readily with others having similar interests,
to offer a forum for ionosonde discussions and thereby broaden the scope of INAG,
to give the INAG Officers an easy way to communicate with all of you.
This is an administed list hosted on computers owned by IPS, and hence by the Australian Government.
To maintain some control over how it is used, members will be able to alter their membership information, but new members will need to send email to phil@ips.gov.au (Phil Wilkinson) requesting that they be made a member.
Notes and questions to the list can be submitted directly by addressing the message to inag-general@ips.gov.au. However, they will not be forwarded to the list members until I have approved them. I have decided to use this level of security to prevent the list being used to spam people. I do not intend to censor or inhibit discussions beyond control unexpected messages from unknown parties.
