| About ips-aurora-alert | |
|
IPS Aurora Alerts provide notification of times when aurorae are more likely to be seen at more equatorial latitudes than is normal. Because the likelihood of seeing an aurora depends greatly on location, the local time, and the sky conditions, IPS Aurora Alerts should be considered only as an indication that space weather conditions are favourable for aurorae sightings. Reports of observations of aurorae that are sent to IPS are collected in a page which can be accessed by clicking here.
