About ips-msgr	English (USA)
The IPS Monthly Solar and Geophysical Report provides a monthly summary of solar, geomagnetic, and ionospheric activity, updated T indices for IPS ASAPS software and information detailing the progress of the current solar cycle. Articles of general interest on the solar-terresrtrial environment and its effects on various technical systems are also included. The latest IPS Solar and Geophysical Summary is available here. The IPS World Data Centre is the long term data store for the data that the Australian Space Forecast Centre uses in near real time. The World Data Centre is at: IPS WDC Home Page Solar images, magnetometer data and ionograms are available in the IPS WDC. IPS uses these data to produce the monthly summary of space weather activity.Additional data sources are the Brussels Solar Influences Data Centre, and the US Space Weather Prediction Centre (SWPC) activity reports, To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the ips-msgr Archives.
Using ips-msgr
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ips-msgr@ips.gov.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ips-msgr
Subscribe to ips-msgr by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
