The IPS Weekly HF Propagation Report provides a one week summary and forecast of HF propagation and ionospheric conditions, along with a one month outlook for disturbed HF propagation conditions, for the Australian region. The weekly summary is based on ionospheric vertical maximum usable frequencies obtained from a network of IPS ionosondes. A daily text summary of ionospheric support level and a calculated ionospheric index called the T-index is provided. IPS customers that have purchased the IPS prediction software ASAPS can use this index. More informationon the IPS Tindex is available at: Tindex Information The first few days forecast is a combination of recent solar coronal mass ejection activity and 27 day patterns.
