INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED FOR 28 MAY 2008 A transient in some of the solar wind parameters was observed at approximately 0130UT on 28 May and was most likely due to a coronal hole co-rotating interaction region (CIR). A small sudden impulse of approximately 10-20 nT was observed across the Australian region at approximately 0220UT on 28 May.
