Hello All,

First, this message originates from a mailing list I have constructed
for URSI Commission G. You should already have received an introductory
message from this list already.

The main purpose of the list is to advertise the forthcoming
URSI General Assembly, and also to help keep you aware of Commission G
activities. I have set up this mailing list based names of people who
attended past URSI meetings, or who I thought might be interested.

If you are unfamiliar with URSI activities, please refer to:
http://www.intec.rug.ac.be/URSI/

If you would like to know more about Commission G, please go to:

POLICY RESOLUTIONS FOR URSI (1 March 2002)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If you wish to raise resolutions at the forthcoming General Assembly
that include references to inter-Union Committees, and are expected to
have an impact outside URSI, then these resolutions must be submitted
to URSI by 1 March, 2002; before the General Assembly.

For more information about resolutions, please refer to:
http://www.intec.rug.ac.be/URSI/infoResolutions.htm

NOMINATIONS FOR VICE-CHAIR (close 1 March 2002)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Nominations for the position of Vice-Chair of Commission G are now open.
These nominations close 1 March and a slate will be prepared for the
URSI Secretariat by 1 April 2002. The slate of candidates will contain
no less than two candidates and no more than four. This slate will
then be sent by the Secretariat to the National members of the
Commission for pre-Assembly voting.

Each nomination must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae. The
nomination forms are available at:
http://www.intec.rug.ac.be/URSI/forms.htm .

Although nominations do not close for some time yet, please give
serious thought to nominations now. I would much prefer nominations
came in early.

POSTING MESSAGES TO THE COMMISSION G MAILING LIST
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
To post a message to the Commission G Mailing List, email the message to
ursi-commission-g@ips.gov.au This is a moderated mailing list and the
Commission Chair is the moderator. This means the message will not
automatically be posted. However, the main reason for moderating the
group is to prevent spamming of the members. As long as I can recognise
some Commission G content in the message I will post it on to everybody
else.

If you have any problems with this mailing list, please contact me by
email (phil@ips.gov.au).

Thank you for your continuing interest.

best wishes,
Phil
